'Fantastic' A-Level results pleases Education

EDUCATION has congratulated students for achieving a 'fantastic set of A Level and Level 3 results' today.

Overall, provisional results show the Bailiwick A-Level pass rate (A* to E grade) for 2013 is 99.5% - the pass rate in England was 98.1%.

Education minister Robert Sillars praised the hard work of students and staff across the island.

'I know that our students will have worked extremely hard to achieve these excellent results,' said Deputy Sillars.
