A PENSIONER was shocked after a window in the conservatory of his St Peter Port bungalow was shattered by the pellet from an air gun while he was at home.

Widower Wilf Eborall, 78, said he had not suffered any trouble since moving to Rouge Rue in 1987.

Neighbours were stunned by the gunshots, in what they said was normally a quiet and peaceful area.

Police yesterday repeated their call for witnesses to the attack, which they believe was carried out using either a BB or pellet gun.

Mr Eborall said he became aware of the attack only when he heard a 'cracking' sound in his conservatory.
