Tennerfest extended in 20 venues
TENNERFEST menus have been extended across the island.
TENNERFEST menus have been extended across the island.
The annual food festival had more than 190 eateries in the Channel Islands offer a fixed price menu for people to enjoy.
It has been such a success that more than 20 in Guernsey are keeping the menu until the end of the month.
Houmet Tavern manager Leon Bates said it was one of the best seasons yet.
'We have 50% more covers compared to this time last year. I think it depends on the menu really as to what makes it popular – but they need to change the name, it has not been £10 for a long time. The most popular dish has been the Moroccan lamb tagine.'
Those Guernsey venues taking part include: Cobo Bay Hotel & Beach Terrace; Crabby Jacks; Crow's Nest, Deerhound Inn; Dix Neuf; Fermain Valley Restaurant; Houmet Tavern; La Grande Mare Brasserie; La Piazza Restaurant; La Piette Hotel Bistro; Laska; Le Gouffre Cafe & Restaurant; Mora Restaurant & Grill; Red Onion; Saints Bay Hotel; The Auberge at Jerbourg; The Falcon Carvery; The Imperial Hotel; The Pandora Hotel; The Rock Garden; Thomas De La Rue; White D'Or.
