Pupils' learning being affected by ICT issues

PROBLEMS with Les Beaucamps High's ICT system are affecting students' learning, the school's head teacher has confirmed.

Bandwidth issues, slow computers, work disappearing and reappearing the next day and late or even lost emails are just some of the issues stopping pupils from doing what they desired to do, said head Peter Le Cheminant.

And he believed Les Beaucamps High was not the only school to be suffering.

'We have a wireless network in the school and sometimes students can't get onto it because of the infrastructure issues.

Education has admitted encountering issues with its current overhaul of island schools' ICT infrastructure.
