Undersea power and communications cable proposed for Sark
AN UNDERSEA cable could soon be supplying power and high speed broadband to Sark, under proposals by the island's Electricity Policy Development Team.

The plans were unveiled to islanders this evening at the first of a series of public meetings.
It is estimated the project could cost £6m., which would be paid for by Sarkees.
Electricity is currently produced on Sark by a private company and is more than triple the cost of power in Guernsey.
