Students give up holiday to revise
REVISION sessions during the Easter holiday have helped to build confidence and make students feel more prepared ahead of their GCSE exams.
The Education Department has organised a series of sessions in English and maths throughout the two-week break.
St Sampson's High student Drew Jonkmans, 15, is hoping to achieve C grades.
'I've come today because I wanted to come to improve my knowledge of my exams and hopefully my general performance,' the 15-year-old said.
'The sessions have definitely made me a bit more confident going into my exams.'
Fellow student and head girl Waritsara Khongyim-Creber said she was feeling nervous ahead of her exams, which start mid-May.
She too wanted to achieve C or above grades.
'I just want to make sure I pass my exams,' the 16-year-old said.
