17 jobs to go at Guernsey Electricity
GUERNSEY ELECTRICITY is shedding 17 jobs as it looks to make efficiencies.

The utility, which has been undertaking a rigorous review, announced the move this afternoon.
It said it would be undergoing a restructure.
'Today we have concluded our consultation with the 190 permanent staff impacted by the restructure and have placed 173 staff into post and have notified 17 staff from across the company that their role is redundant,' said a spokesman.
'We will be working with the affected staff to provide support during this difficult period.'
