A range of culinary events have been scheduled for the week, which takes place from Friday 18 to Sunday 27 September, including seafront stalls, professional chef demonstrations, and themed food nights from participating restaurants.

Speaking at the launch of the joint initiative by Taste Guernsey and Visit Guernsey, director of marketing and tourism Mike Hopkins said the festival, which it is hoped will become an annual event, would be something that hotels and other businesses in the tourism industry could promote.
