Two honoured by the Queen
TWO local residents have been honoured in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Les Bourgs Hospice director Jo Boyd has been awarded the MBE, while long-serving Boys' Brigade volunteer Steve England has received the BEM.
Ms Boyd dedicated her award to the generous people of Guernsey who provided the money to keep it open as well as the team who help her.
Mr England, who followed a family tradition when he joined the Boys' brigade at the age of eight, wondered why he had been singled out when so many other people gave time to the organisation.
