Their concerns have grown come after a car drove off the road into the undergrowth and came to a stop dangerously close to the cliff edge last Friday night.
Frank and Margaret Cusack said they had several worries following the recent accident.
'The problem is, people use the road as a race track, which can lead to accidents,' said Mrs Cusack, 69.
'Even putting in a sign to get people to slow down would not make any difference.'
Mr Cusack, 68, said that having speed bumps in place would also not work. They suggested that 'aesthetically pleasing' barriers would be a good idea.
