VIDEO - Minke whale is sighted off Alderney
ALDERNEY builder James Walker spotted a minke whale on his way back from Guernsey recently.

He was in his boat around four miles from Alderney when the cetacean appeared a short distance from his boat.
The mammal breached the water's surface, providing a spectacular display for onlookers.
Mr Walker managed to capture the whale's antics on camera, even managing to video it emerging from the sea.
He said: 'It was entirely unexpected, but beautiful to see.'
