South Show rebirth goes from strength to strength

THE rejuvenation of the South Show continued with another successful event that concluded on Saturday.

The last tented show took place at Blanche Pierre Lane in 2003 and, after a brief spell with exhibits only at St Martin's School, it has been held at the parish's community centre every year since 2008.

Momentum continues to grow with 2015, probably the biggest event since then.

'Three years ago, outside we had just one tent, a barbecue, a dog show and a couple of craft stalls,' said committee member Christine Guerin.
