Lifeboat rescues four from the Russel

FOUR people have been treated in hospital after their vessel sank in the Russel on Friday evening.

The St Peter Port lifeboat was called out just before 6pm and four people were saved from the water. Only the masts of their vessel could be seen above the waves.

The lifeboat arrived back in Guernsey with the casualties just before 6.30pm.
