IT WILL take a few days for Channel swimmer Advocate Paul Nettleship to take in what he has achieved.

Published

Advocate Nettleship, who arrived back in the island last night, completed the challenge, in aid of Hope for Guernsey and Guernsey Chest and Heart, in 11 hours 59 minutes on Sunday.

The 40-year-old began at around 3.30am at Samphire Hoe in Dover and finished at Pointe de la Courte-Dune, France.

Apart from being stung by some jellyfish and having a sore right shoulder, he said that he was feeling well yesterday.
