A total of 630 jackets were given to the students and teachers through the Active Travel Group and the help of two sponsors.

Head teacher Cate Mason said the students were very excited about the bright yellow jackets.

'It is really good for their health and wellbeing to actively travel to school and research supports that.

They are more ready to learn when having done some exercise,' she said.
