Driver, 20, who dumped van over cliff is fined £4k
A DRIVER who pushed his van over the south coast cliffs when its engine failed was fined £4,000.

It would have cost him £30 to have had it disposed of properly.
Jack Le Tissier, 20, said it 'seemed like a good idea at the time' and was 'less hassle' to dispose of his Suzuki over the cliff edge below La Prevote Tower, Torteval, when it broke down in the area.
But the Magistrate's Court heard how the van would now cause long-lasting damage to the environment as it was unlikely to be recovered.
