CONDOR has warned it will be monitoring the weather 'extremely closely' as poor conditions are forecast for the Easter weekend.

The warning comes as the Condor Rapide returns to service today having completed its annual essential maintenance and refit.
While the Condor Liberation, Commodore Clipper and Commodore Goodwill are operating as normal today, the weather is expected to take a turn for the worse.
'Weather conditions in the English Channel are forecast to be inclement over the Easter weekend and we are monitoring them extremely closely,' said Condor.
'Friday's sailings are expected to operate as normal. An update regarding Saturday's sailings will be provided no later than 11am on Friday - and this pattern will be followed for subsequent days as required.'
Condor Ferries brought charter ship MV Arrow into service last weekend to maintain its freight service while the Clipper concentrated on passenger sailings.
However, the Arrow is now needed to cover Isle of Man services after one of the ferries there collided with a pier. It has been reported that five passengers were injured when the fast craft Manannan hit the Victoria Pier on arrival in Douglas.
'Condor's use of Arrow is on a shared charter with Isle of Man Steam Packet,' added Condor.
'The agreement gives each operator priority at certain times of year based on operational demand.
'Unfortunately, one of the IOMSP ferries suffered a collision last night and as a result, MV Arrow is making her way back north to provide essential back up.
'Condor Ferries sends its good wishes to all those affected by this accident.'
