The event, organised by Sovereign Trust (Channel Islands), will invite all of the secondary schools in Guernsey to submit 10 of the best 2D artworks created by their students.

The winning school and student will each receive cash prizes, with £2,000 up for grabs for the winning school and £500 for the student who produces the winning work of art.

Sovereign Trust (Channel Island) Ltd managing director Stephen Hare said that he looked forward to seeing this year's entries after being impressed by the ones submitted last year.
