Le Grand Courtil 'is more than a residential home'

LE GRAND COURTIL tenants and users now have one central point where they can voice any concerns to, following the establishment of an association.

The recently-registered charity will also keep members informed about issues affecting the extra-care housing, by way of regular meetings and newsletters.

The Its aims of the association also include raising funds for additional comforts and social, recreational and educational activities, as well as promoting the interests of tenants and the surrounding community on matters concerning the facilities and enhancing and contributing to the social and community life of the scheme.

Built on the site of the former Longue Rue House old people's home, Le Grand Courtil's new apartments now provide homes for more than 60 men and women with a diverse range of care needs.
