Get your special people on the Pride awards shortlist
WITH all 12 categories now announced for the Pride of Guernsey Awards, the Guernsey Press's reporting team are ready and waiting to help share with readers all your nominee stories.
Each award has its own designated reporter who will ensure that islanders put forward by you on the Pride of Guernsey nomination forms appear in our newspaper and online over the coming weeks.
The closing date for all nominations is Thursday 30 June, after which the public vote for winners will begin.
Once shortlists are drawn up, a team of judges for each award will decide on the final 12 winners who will each be presented with their titles and a prize worth £1,000 at the very first Pride of Guernsey Awards ceremony in October.
Full details of every category and the types of entries we are looking for can be found at our dedicated sister website, www.prideofguernsey.com, along with all the nomination forms.
Forms will also continue to appear in the Guernsey Press at various times throughout the nomination period, as well as in the Globe, with copies available from outlets around the island too, including the Press Shop in Smith Street and our Guernsey Press reception at Braye Road.
