Teachers on trial as La Mare primary hold 'self-inspection'
CHILDREN are turning the idea of school on its head by telling teachers what to do.

As part of a 'self-inspection' of La Mare de Carteret Primary School by a group of its pupils, who had to apply for the role, they will spend today sat in classrooms taking notes on what the teachers are doing right and wrong.
Regan Webb, 11, was one of those who would be sitting in, and said it was a good opportunity for the school.
'It will be good for the school to know what we think, and for us to point out areas of development for them.
'It is to help make the school a better place. We have to point out the positives and negatives, and tell teachers what they can change.'
