From 1 October, smoking will not be permitted anywhere on sites that are owned or managed by Education or Health & Social Care.

Sites affected will include schools, the College of Further Education, Education's Grange premises and the hospital.

Arrangements are being put in place to help patients who smoke when they attend hospital.
