Lifeboat called out to Travel Trident

Guernsey's lifeboat was called in to action after  Travel Trident V hit rocks off Herm.

Passengers were brought back on board the Spirit of Guernsey and arrived ashore shortly before 4.30pm.

They were met by emergency services with no reports of injuries.

Travel Trident was towed back by the Sarnia workboat.

The company's managing director Peter Wilcox confirmed that the vessel had hit something.

It is reported that there were 20 passengers on board.
