Pride of Guernsey: 'So many acts of kindness'
A COUPLE who have helped their elderly neighbours with a host of tasks have been nominated for the Swoffers-sponsored Neighbour of the Year Award.

Mandy de la Mare and Iain Brouard moved in next to pensioners Kay and Frank Coates nearly 10 years ago.
Kay and Frank said Mandy and Iain were simply the best neighbours they could ask for.
'We call them the 'kids next door' and they've done so many things,' they said.
That includes filling up the coal, helping to fill in passport forms, bringing round eggs from their chickens and putting gravel in their back garden.
'There are so many acts of kindness,' the couple said.
'We are truly blessed and have such fun with them and lots of laughs.'
