Pride of Guernsey: 'a selfless, hardworking and honest couple'
A CARING couple who are selfless, hardworking and honest is how Don and Lorraine Le Flock's children have described them.
Rachel, 43, Darren, 47, and Kerry, 46, happily nominated their parents, aged 73 and 69 respectively, for The Christies Group-sponsored Parent/s of the Year Award.
They said their mum and dad worked tirelessly to help others.
'They have created a wonderful, close, caring family,' the children said.
'They are fantastic, honest, hardworking and selfless parents and grandparents who deserve recognition for years and years of hard work and all the love they have given to the whole family, expecting absolutely nothing in return.'
Don and Lorraine have four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Don is also a pastor at the Full Gospel Mission, in the Vale.
'So again, hours and hours selflessly given to others,' they said.
