Sexual health clinic opens at PEH
OPEN-ACCESS sexual health clinic The Orchard Centre was opened yesterday following its relocation to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
The new centre, which has been developed over the last four months, is in the Divette Wing, having previously been at the Castel Hospital.
The sexual health facility was officially opened by Lady Corder, who praised the island's commitment to providing an open-access clinic.
'This is my first experience of opening a facility like this,' she said.
'The facility here is really tranquil and easy to access. The team have come up with some interesting and innovative ways of making their patients feel welcome.'
Lady Corder said the renovations gave the centre a modern appearance that would be welcoming for its service users.
'When you step inside this clinic, you feel like you are coming into a totally different environment.'
