VOTING begins today for the Guernsey Press Pride of Guernsey Awards, 12 brand-new accolades to celebrate those islanders doing extraordinary things every day.

Votes can be cast online from 10am on our dedicated Pride of Guernsey website, or by filling in one of the special forms that appear in the newspaper today and which we will continue to run over the coming days.
A 32-page supplement featuring all those nominated appears in today's edition. The 12 categories are Emergency Hero, Carer, Teacher, Neighbour, Angel (aimed at health workers), Parish Champion, Young Achiever, Arts Contribution, Overcoming Adversity, Grandparent/s, Parent/s and Welcomne of the Year.
