Essential repairs carried out at La Mare de Carteret schools
LA MARE DE CARTERET students will return in September to improvements to the building, facilities and furniture.

Over the summer holidays, contractors have been are completing carrying out essential improvements to both the primary and secondary schools, following the March States debate at which the redevelopment of the schools was put on hold again and agreement was reached to provide additional funding to make improvements to both schools in the interim.
Together, these summer holiday works are costing around £502,000 and include roofing and scaffolding, essential carpentry works, asbestos-related works and new furniture and equipment.
The work started on the afternoon of the last day of term.
