Billboard unveiled for summer anti drink-driving campaign
SUCCESSFUL campaigns, tough court action and public perceptions of drink-driving are all playing their part in tackling the crime and its potentially devastating consequences, roads policing sergeant Sergeant Tom Marshall has said yesterday.

A large billboard was unveiled on the roundabout as part of the summer anti drink-drive campaign launched by the States, with police also carrying out regular spot-checks and the public urged to come forward if they suspect someone.
Using the slogan, Drink driving; it tears lives apart, the campaign is designed to make people think about the consequences of a single drink.
The only way to be sure of not being over the limit was to not have any.
Sergeant Marshall said it was important to highlight the issue during this pleasant time of year.
