The library has been set up, redecorated and designed with the coordination of the school's Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, the School's Library Service and the school's staff.

One of the young librarians opening the new facility was Remi Kerry, 10, who said 'the opportunities were now endless'.

'It's awesome and way better than the old one, now it's all organised and people can sit and read together.

'The opening is really cool too, I am looking forward to everyone seeing it and using it,' she said.

Nicholas Chatfield, 10, is also one of the librarians. He said he was really excited.

'We have a new sticker system to keep the books organised – the old one was a mess!' he said.
