Roy Le Tissier said that in over 60 years planting his garden he has never known his blooms to last so long, and wonders if perhaps this is a sign that the timing of the seasons is changing.
Mr Le Tissier planted the flowers in May – over 3,000 blooms, including begonias and lobelia. He said that normally they would be at their best over the summer months, but by mid-October they would usually be looking 'a bit rough'.
