Education and Income Tax relocation could cost £2m
AROUND £1.5m to £2m. will be spent on upgrading Sir Charles Frossard House so that it can accommodate Education and Income Tax staff, the States chief executive has announced.

Paul Whitfield yesterday confirmed government was seeking expressions of interest for building work to the La Charroterie offices as the States looks to rationalise its properties.
Education and Income Tax will have to vacate the Grange Road House and Cornet Street properties by the end of 2017.
Mr Whitfield said both properties were assets and the project was a case of spending to save.
'These moves will remove the substantial operating and maintenance costs for those premises, and free up valuable properties that can be released as assets for the States of Guernsey,' he said.
