Guernsey Press Ambassador of the Year winner announced
TEAM Guernsey, who represented the island at The Dance World Cup 2016, are the Guernsey Press Ambassador of the Year.

The award celebrates those individuals or groups who have taken the name of Guernsey beyond our shores.
The announcement was made at tonight's Awards for Achievement, held at Beau Sejour.
A team of 197 dancers from the six Guernsey dance and theatre schools came together to represent the island at the Dance World Cup in Jersey in June.
More than 12,000 competitors from 33 countries competed at the finals.
Team Guernsey won seven medals, including one gold, one silver and five bronze. The gold was won by GATE's 'When you're an Addams', which was chosen to take part in the World Junior Gala that closed the finals.
