Still places left for 30 Rides
MORE than 100 first-time and returning cyclists are gearing up for this month's 30 Rides in 30 Days challenge.
The annual fundraiser in aid of Les Bourgs Hospice, now in its tenth year, gets under way on Saturday 29 April.
Organiser Ian Brown, from Ian Brown's Cycle Shop, said there were just over 40 places still available.
Andrea Nightingale is part of quartet The Pootleists, who are aiming to cycle more than 500 miles from Les Bourgs in the French Alps to Les Bourgs in Guernsey.
Their return to the island will coincide with a family bike ride on Sunday 21 May, ending with a picnic at Fairfield.
'We are also looking to get some corporate sponsorship as we are aiming to raise £10,000,' she said.
