Cannabis user hid £90,000-worth in cabinet at work

A HEAVY cannabis user has been jailed for three-and-a-half years for being involved in the supply of up to £90,000-worth of cannabis resin.

The Royal Court heard that police carried out a raid at Ace Motors, La Charroterie, St Peter Port, at 3am on 31 July last year.

Joseph Robilliard, 27, who pleaded guilty to the charge, is the leaseholder of the garage/workshop.

A drugs dog showed particular interest in a locked metal cabinet.

A red holdall containing 96.49 grams of cannabis resin was inside, as well as three packages inside a cardboard box – each containing 10 blocks of the class B drug.

The street value of the total 2,995.76 grams was between £59,920 and £89,880.
