Five new cadets were presented with their special medals this week having been chosen from an ‘outstanding’ pool of candidates.

St John’s Ambulance cadet of the year Lydia Batchelor, Girl Guides young leader Elise Bott and Air Training Corps corporal Amy Woodland were selected.

Rory Johnson and Ben Brown, a sergeant and petty officer respectively in the Elizabeth College Combined Cadet Force, were also chosen.
