Police hunt for two masked men after garage burglary

POLICE have released images of two masked men they are hunting in connection with a burglary at the Checkers Xpress, Landes du Marche.

It happened in the early hours of Friday 22 September.

Officers are keen to speak to the drivers of two vehicles which were in the area at 4:45am – a red van which drove around the back of the garage and a silver car which crossed the forecourt.

CCTV images show that at around 5.25am three hooded and masked individuals gained entry to the shop.

'They were in the property for a few minutes and tobacco was taken,' a police spokesman said.

'The intruders also tried to gain entrance to the office area within the store, before running away from the scene.'

Police are keen to speak to people who was in the Landes du Marche area at the time who saw anything suspicious.
