Aurigny link with easyJet ‘will extend marketing reach’
EASYJET’S marketing reach could help boost Bailiwick tourism, VisitGuernsey has said.
It follows the announcement that from later this year, it will be possible to book Aurigny flights to Guernsey through the easyJet website, as well as book through flights to other destinations, which will help protect travellers who miss their connections.
A VisitGuernsey spokesman welcomed the move.
‘This is an exciting development and we are looking forward to further details regarding the implementation and the launch date with interest,’ he said.
‘The fact that Aurigny will now have a presence and an extended marketing reach on the easyJet.com website can only be a good thing.’
No date for the roll-out has yet been announced.
