Islanders are being urged to have pens, pencils and other materials at the ready to enter the competition, which is part of the Guernsey Disability Alliance’s We All Matter, eh? Think Differently About Disability campaign.

‘We want to push the envelope when it comes to changing perceptions around disability. It only seemed apt to organise a competition to design envelopes to help raise awareness of the Think Differently About Disability campaign,’ said GDA executive director Karen Blanchford.

‘We’re looking for entries which present a positive image about disability from schools, children and other islanders. Three winning designs will be chosen, and will each feature on 10,000 envelopes, which are also seeking to raise funds for the GDA’s important work.’

Butterfield Bank is supporting the competition by getting the envelopes printed.

To enter the competition, go to https://matter.gg/competition. Entries can also be delivered to a child’s school or the Guernsey Arts Commission at Candie Museum.

The deadline for entries is Tuesday.
