Hauteville House plans will restore it to former glory
PARTS of Hauteville House will be restored to their former glory under plans submitted to the Development & Planning Authority.

The Etablissement Paris Musees has devised plans to restore the conservatory, roof and lookout of the house once owned by Victor Hugo.
If approved, the south elevation and terrace will also be repaired if funding can be sourced.
The plans detail parts of the protected building which are showing areas of deterioration.
‘The house of an illustrious person requires a special approach in terms of architectural and historical conservation,’ the planning application said.
