The iconic Aurigny Trislander is to be suspended from the ceiling of the new attraction’s dining area.
Oatlands’ co-owner, Chris Coles, said they have been in touch with engineers who worked on suspending aircraft from the roof of the Imperial War Museum in Duxford.
‘We’re making certain the very best experts are being used from England with the help of Aurigny’s engineers to make sure that Joey will fly again,’ said Mr Coles.
‘He will be completely repainted and restored to his former glory.’
The plan is for the play barn to be opened in July next year.
