Silent protest over disability strategy delay

FRUSTRATION at delays in implementing the disability and inclusion strategy led to a silent protest being held outside the States building yesterday morning.

A small group of protesters was led by disability rights campaigner Aindre Reece-Sheerin. ‘We were promised in 2013 when we had rights enshrined in law that it was going to happen in this term, but it hasn’t happened,’ he said.
