Takeaway and restaurant regain four stars in food hygiene ratings
THE Rohais Chinese Takeaway has regained its four-star food hygiene rating after its owner was prosecuted under the food hygiene law.
Improvements include introducing plastic cladding to the walls near food preparation sites, demonstrating a good work practice and level of cleanliness.
The takeaway was given a zero-star rating in January – meaning urgent improvements were necessary.
Another establishment, Dawat Indian restaurant, closed its doors in October upon receipt of a no-star rating for its kitchen, which was installed in 2013. It is also now up to four-star standard.
