The globally-recognised qualification is designed for individuals who have some experience in the industry and want to develop their knowledge further.

The six-month course provides a solid grounding in international trust practice from a global and local perspective, covering topics including international trust vehicles, legal structures, principles and practices underpinning the profession.

The course is completed with a three-hour closed book exam in which Mr Ricketts achieved the highest mark.

He joined Saffery Champness in 2014 and is currently responsible for the day-to-day administration of trusts and underlying companies in the firm’s Russian UHNW team. He is now working towards the Step diploma in international trust management.
