A development framework consultation has been held for the site to look at its potential for residential development.

There is already planning permission to convert the building into nine flats, but a more recent application for 14 flats and three houses was rejected.

The development framework provides planning guidance on how the site might be developed by setting out how policies in the Island Development Plan will be applied to the site.

There was a four-week consultation on the draft framework.
