HSC yesterday released a summary of its 34 key performance indicators, agreed as part of its new contract with the Medical Specialist Group.

It also provided more detail on waiting times for procedures after little information was forthcoming from the secondary health care provider in its annual review and subsequent enquiries.

Current waiting times for orthopaedic outpatient appointments is 61 days, while for inpatients it is 94 days.
