More warnings issued for high tide tonight and tomorrow

FURTHER flooding is expected along the east coast tomorrow morning, with a flood warning issued by the Guernsey Met. Office.

There is also a tide warning in place for tonight.

The flooding is possible at high tide tomorrow morning at around 8.10, with the 10m tide expected to be whipped up by southerly/south-easterly force 4-6 winds.

Tonight, there is a hight tide of 9.8m with southerly winds of between force 4-6.

Flooding along Bulwer Avenue led to Guernsey Police closing a section of the road between Grandes Maisons Road and Longue Hougue Lane at about 7.30pm on Friday.
