International professional services provider Equiom is holding a general market update, with key considerations for 2019 and beyond, at the Old Government House hotel on Tuesday 29 January.

Managing director Caroline Prow will kick-start the event followed by expert analysis.

Tax director Kevin Renshaw will explore trust structures for non-UK domiciled island residents looking to acquire UK property assets. ‘The landscape is constantly changing for island residents owning a property in the UK,’ he said.

‘It is increasingly important to stay on top of these changes and review the options available on a regular basis.’

Fellow tax director Monica Dixie, who will focus on economic substance requirements for business, said: ‘I will provide an overview of the rules and what considerations will be required for companies.’
