Jenny Mitchell and Melissa Campbell have acquired the majority shareholding of the agency’s founder Patrick Lynch.

Miss Mitchell joined Situations in 2001 and Mrs Campbell the following year.

Both have been directors of the business since 2002 and are fellows of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation UK.

‘We’re focused on looking at the future of Situations whilst continuing to run this very successful Guernsey recruitment agency with a great team of qualified and experienced staff,’ said the new owners.

The company is also planning further growth having expanded from five to nine staff in recent years.

Mr Lynch said: ‘Jenny and Melissa have been managing the business for many years now and I’m delighted to pass the ownership onto both of them to take the business forward.’

Newly-promoted director Nadine Gavey has also joined the company’s board.

It means the board is majority female.

Mrs Gavey joined Situations four years ago from a background of HR and recruitment gained at major industry players in London and Guernsey. She holds a master’s in HR Management.

‘Nadine is a great addition to our board and brings a quality HR perspective to the business,’ said Mrs Campbell.
