Deputy Trott faces code of conduct complaint

A CODE of conduct complaint has been made against Policy & Resources vice-president Lyndon Trott.

Published
Deputy Lyndon Trott. (24436225)

The complaint was made by former pilot Mervyn Dacey, who said he believes the deputy had misled the Assembly a number of times during a speech made to the States in December.

'The speech was considered so important that the Bailiff allowed extra time for it to be made,' Mr Dacey said.

'During this speech Deputy Trott misled the States multiple times. It appears to be inconceivable that this was by accident, and therefore I feel it necessary to lodge my complaint.'

He said the Deputy's Trott's speech had used only part of the PwC report, which related to travel links, rather than giving a complete picture.
